La Charcuterie Design: Identity

La Charcuterie is a deli/restaurant hybrid well known around Vancouver for serving up sandwiches filled with deli meats. To play off this, business cards were created to look like cold cuts. They were strung in netting similar to the way salami and other cured meats are hung in delis. Finally, we printed the letterhead and envelopes on butcher paper— the same paper they wrap their sandwiches in.

Conceptually excellent, I like to question the practicality of any project, so I would question the size/format of the business cards (sad to say, but people still prefer wallet sized cards). That being said, it's an excellent piece and should bring the client deserved attention and distinction from their competition.

Awesome. Makes you stop a try to figure out what it is. Might be a little gross to some because it is so realistic.

Simple yet fun, innovative yet not trendy. Timeless. All the attributes of great design
